We hardly got to know you, but we can't wait to come back
During our month in Colombia, we mainly stuck to the beach. After six months in Patagonia we needed to thaw out. Although we didn’t do too many touristy things, we definitely experienced the open and welcoming culture we heard so much about.
We found solace on a northern beach, far away from people and city noise. Santa Marta provided a balance of history, city and rejuvenation. Baru Island showed us just how blue the Caribbean can be. And Cartagena charmed us with its laid back Caribbean flair, colorful architecture and incredible food.
As we sail off to Panama, we look forward, but know that we will be back to complete our tour of Colombia and to discover all it has to offer.
